The William F. Augustine Photograph Collection consists of New Jersey images from the 1920s to the 1970s, focusing on southern New Jersey.
This collection contains materials about William H. Martin, Dean of the College of Agriculture at Rutgers University from 1939 until his retirement in 1960. The bulk of this collection's records cover the years from 1945 to 1960. The materials include photographs, press releases, newspaper clippings, speeches, and ephemeral matter produced on special occasions. The collection is organized into two series: Series I, Photographic Files, and Series II, Subject Files.
William Cole served as a distinguished professor of physiology and biochemistry at Rutgers University from 1928 to 1959. His papers include correspondence, drafts of speeches and articles, reprints of published materials, and other research files that document his scientific career.
Papers reflecting William T. Cahill's career in the United States House of Representatives. Included within the papers are incoming and outgoing letters with Congressional and constituent correspondents, bills, committee prints, voting records, press releases, photographs, and general subject files. Also covered briefly is Cahill's first campaign for Governor of New Jersey in 1969.
The documents comprising the papers of William Walter Phelps, attorney, Congressman, investor, and minister, span the years from as early as 1845 to 1911. The bulk of the collection however is between 1870 to 1898. The papers that date back to 1846 are his fathers' tax receipts in New York City. Mr. Phelps' father was the famous and wealthy merchant John J. Phelps. The papers that document Mr. Phelps' life are written during a period in which Mr. Phelps holds highly prominent positions .
This collection contains documentation, including various publicity materials, research and writing, correspondence, photographs, and personal files, related to Wilma Dobie's involvement with jazz music and musicians as a journalist, promoter, advocate, and lifelong jazz enthusiast.
